Coverage

1,774 cities, each backed by its own weather station within 50 km and 200 m of elevation, with at least fifteen complete years of record. Germany uses the Deutscher Wetterdienst network, which has far more stations with longer records than the international exchange does: for Berlin it reproduces the published design temperature exactly, from a full thirty years.
